Just a quick one...

An olden day photo, as Kaitlynn calls them (b/w). Taken at Point Lonsdale yesterday. Had a great weekend at the beach, weather was pretty darn good. What more could you ask for?

Ahhh....school holidays! YAY!!

No more rushing out the door every day. I didn't even get dressed this morning til nearly 10am. And this is a chance to try and get some family photos of my little lovelies (or is that ferals?) Bailey was given a black eye last night when Charli pushed him into the dining table - it's a real thumper too.

Never mind, though. A time out in her room seemed to sort her out!

Can't wait to catch up with all our friends over the hol's. Some we haven't seen in ages. Should be good.

Better get back to the kiddies now

Anatomy of a dog bite.....

Consider this a public service announcement.
Do you have a pet dog?
Do you trust it?
Do you say to yourself how good it is with your children?
Trust it? Don't. The photos below are of Bailey, from earlier this year, when our 12 year old cocker spaniel bit Bailey on the face.
It was not the dog's fault. It was not Bailey's fault. It was mine. I should never have left them alone in a room together, not even for a minute.
We still have Bonnie. She is old and tired and doesn't take kindly to heavy toddlers going hee-ha on her back. I t was a difficult decision, and it is hard to keep them seperated, but it must be done.
I hope the pictures below serve as a wake up call to all of you dog owners. If your child is behaving in a way that makes you say how tolerant the dog is, sit up and take notice. They do have a breaking point. NO dog can be trusted.

Playing the blues.
It still makes me cringe....at least he now only has one small scar under his eye and one in his dimple where it was stitched.

At last {My Angel}

I have been waiting rather impatiently for a half decent temperature to give my brand new prop a whirl.

Meet my gorgeous real feather angel wings, worn heavenly by Kaitlynn.

I didn't get to have a good go at photos - Kaitlynn fell over and hurt herself and didn't want to do anymore...... can't wait to have a better go at it.

This is what a tool looks like.....

He really does play the fool, and l'm not talking just a little bit, it's ALL the time! He can be sooooo tiring.

I believe he might be preparing for his Australian Idol audition......he certainly has enough confidence to do ANYTHING!
Luckily for me you get glimpses of a really beautiful boy, he gives great cuddles and loves with ALL of his heart. It helps he has really cute dimples too.....
I think l might keep him!!

A day at the beach, anyone?

I am thinking of having a day of sessions at the beach one day these school holidays.....If you are interested, or know someone who might be, drop me an email at lisajo@netconnect.com.au, so l can add you to the interested list.....to my friends and family who read the blog - you are more than welcome too....
Soft sand and the deep blue sea, my favourite derelict old building with green, green grass and the pier.....could these locations get any better??!

Here's Kaitlynn - lookin' purdy!

Living in the 80's....

Today l've been having a bit of fun. Thought l would like to share thes sites with you....

Have been watching 80's music videos which is well worth it for the bad hairdo's and fashion!

I'm a bit too young to have been an 80's child (thank god!) but went to yearbook yourself and to think this is what l might of looked like if l was a few years older. Thankfully, there are none of these bizzare looking pics in my family album!!

Just to clarify - l have never had this hairdo or looked quite this bad!! LOL

Another wedding....

I went to school with the groom, so was quite familiar with this couple. They had a great day, in spite of the horrible weather (no outdoor photos though!)

Hairy McLarey

Kaitlynn had a dress up day at school today for literacy week. She decided to go as Hairy McLarey (who just happens to look remarkably like one of our little dogs)

After a brief panic attack on kailynn's part (she saw some kids dressed in school uniform and thought she was the only one dressed up),she go very excited in her classroom checking out all the other kids and their cute costumes....

She's four....

Charli is getting so big..... she turned 4 on friday. She had a very good day - lots of presents (5 new friends for her teddy!) We had tea at maccas and the kids run themselves ragged in the playground (no party this year).

She got the cake she asked for - my brief was a rainbow love heart cake. I'm no domestic goddess, but was pretty proud of my effort.

Happy B'day big girl!!
