Photoshop perfection...



I just added these in as extra. The first one is a simple grayscale conversion (no tweaking) - this is most likely how your photos would look if you tried to print them in b/w straight from your camera. The second photo is a more dynamic picture. A good black and white photo will have black & white in it - not just shades of grey. I also added a vignette and texture.



I wanted to use this post to explain to those not in the know about how photoshop improves digital pictures. When l take photos they don't go straight from camera to lab to print, there is a crucial step in between to give photos that "professional edge".


And also to explain to you that the price you pay for your professional photos includes the time and effort it takes to make your photos the best they can be.


It might also be the time to tell you photoshop finishing techniques does not fix bad photography, you have to start with a correctly exposed photo to begin with.
